For those of you who know me well, saying that I love reading is a huge understatement. It has been a favorite pastime of mine since I was a little girl. A few years ago, I noticed on someone's blog that they had kept track of all the books the had read that year, and I thought it was such a fun idea - not because all of you really care what I read, but because I wanted to remember it :).
As I kept track, I realized it was a lot of books, but I am in a great part of my life where my kids go to bed early and I have free time in the evening to read, so I have been taking full advantage. And just in case you want to know what I thought of all these books, go to goodreads.com and add me as a friend :).
(And because I am a crazy person, I also kept track of how many pages each book was. My average book was 425 pages and my total pages were 32,615.)

holy cow, that's a lot of books. I really need to read more. I think I read maybe 10 books last year. so sad. but I'm entering in to a new phase with my kids...they are staying up later now that they are older. it's 9 or 9:30 by the time everyone is actually asleep. I miss my free time!

Oh you put me to shame! I didn't even reach my reading goal this year. But then, I'm in a different stage of life...one day I'll read to my heart's content. And I"m definitely going to take some of your suggestions. Thanks!
